Licensing Documentation Consultant

What your day-to-day looks like:
Support development of licensing and technical submittals for utilities and nuclear regulators (e.g., US Nuclear Regulatory Commission)
Create simple and clear documentation around complex technical concepts and ideas
Work with senior level stakeholders to understand technical ideas and incorporate them into regulatory submission documentation, as appropriate
Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation license documentation for nuclear power plants
Drive consistency in technical documents by supporting peer reviews and challenge reviews for anticipated regulatory submission documents
Provide training and coaching to licensing and engineering organization with respect to regulatory documentation quality standards
Create a consistent set of references for common technical documents

This is a hybrid role based in Etna, PA. No relocation provided. No sponsorship available.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field
5 years of related industry experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to learn regulatory framework and licensing application content guidance
Ability to multitask and demonstrate critical thinking skills
Ability to interact across multiple layers of management
Experience with supporting proposal development for future nuclear opportunities highly preferred
