Summary You will serve as an Assistant in the Command Office of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. This NG-05 position is equivalent to the GS-11/12 level. The NG-04 position is equivalent to the GS-9/10 level. Responsibilities You will provide administrative support and assistance in the management of NUWC Division, Keyport’s Command Office and manage employee information of a confidential nature for the Chief of Staff. You will serve as a senior advisor to the Commanding Officer/Technical Director, Senior Command Staff, and Command administrative support personnel, providing leadership and direction in relevant policies and processes. You will evaluate, execute, and disseminate NSWC/NUWC Headquarters (HQ) policies and procedures and independently develop and implement Command administrative policies, procedures, and procedural guides. You will design, develop, and manage systems, processes, and procedures necessary for tracking and documenting high level activities and actions for projects/programs for Senior Command Staff members. You will compose, receive, review, and manage all Command correspondence routings and approvals, setting/meeting all deadlines and following procedural guidance. You will collaborate with the Public Affairs Officer/Protocol Officer in developing executive level visit and event agendas, logistics planning, and day of execution support. You will coordinate/process travel arrangements, conference attendance packets, timekeeping functions, facilities upgrades, security access, and information technology issues/upgrades. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications NG-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NG-04 pay band (GS-9/10) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing senior executive administrative support functions to handle correspondence, manage calendars, and arrange travel. NG-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NG-03 pay band (GS-7/8) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
