BILINGUAL CLIENT SERVICES SPECIALIST

WAGE:                             Salary range: $19 — 23/hour (DOE)

BENEFITS:                     Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (employer pays 80% of premium), WA State Pension, twelve paid holidays/year, 8 hours paid vacation/month, and 8 hours paid sick leave/month.

REPORTS TO:              Executive Director, Program Manager, and Operations Manager

SUPERVISES:               None

WORK SCHEDULE:   Full -time, 40 hours/week. Some flexibility is required. Non-Exempt.

You enjoy technology, hard work, and a nurturing work environment.  As a Bilingual Client Services Specialist, you will learn all aspects of the work we do at the Housing Authority of Okanogan County (HAOC), and you will be provided with the tools needed to be successful.

NATURE OF WORK:

The duties and responsibilities of the Bilingual Client Services Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:

– Assists as an interpreter and point of contact for the agencys monolingual Spanish-speaking clients.
– Serves as a point of contact for inquiries about HAOC programs, properties, and services.
– Serves as the initial case manager for clients seeking housing rental assistance.
– Provides tenant support services to the Operations and Site Managers as needed.
– Upon proper training, and after securing employer-paid certifications, performs the functions of a Housing Specialist.
– Travels to HAOC properties as needed.

Provides program information, rental information, applications, and answers housing assistance inquiries via telephone, emails, or in person.
