Overview:
ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Scheduler position will schedule project activities for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations. This role involves performing schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools and assisting various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects, and life-cycle schedules. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA.
Pay rate: $54.73 – $75.13

Responsibilities:
Develop detailed schedules for assigned projects to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance, properly managing risk in accordance with station procedures, processes, and goals
Assist in the upkeep of lifecycle project schedules
Maintain schedule integrity
Develop and implement scheduling methodologies based on industry best practices
Support the biennial refueling outage for project scheduling
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 5 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management;
OR Associates degree in a technical field involving Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 7 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management;
OR High school diploma or GED and 9 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey-level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer, or Quality Control position within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance
Commercial nuclear experience required.
Reactor Operator License
Proficiency in work management and outage work processes and procedures
Proficiency with Passport or similar Work Management software programs and interfaces with scheduling systems
Primavera Training Certification (or equivalent)
Working knowledge of report development software (Crystal Reports) and database analysis
PMP certification
Primavera 106 Training Certification (or equivalent), Passport to Primavera scheduling program interface
Understanding of Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program, risk management processes, and Crystal report writing or similar SQL-based query reports
Good knowledge of work control processes and procedures, and understanding of the effects of isolating, testing, and restoring plant systems and equipment
Experience with Passport or similar Work Management software programs and interfaces with scheduling systems
Ability to understand, apply, and model the Core Values (Teamwork, Excellence, Accountability, Mutual Respect, and Trust through open and honest communication)
Ability to work with teams, disciplines, and other plant organizations to develop integrated plant schedules
Ability to direct resources and establish priorities for schedule activities
Effective communication skills and ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing
