Summary You will serve as a PLANNER AND ESTIMATOR (PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEM MECHANIC) in the Centralized Coordination Department of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, or other records and reports to determine pneudraulic systems production requirements. You will determine parts, tools, technical directives, and equipment needed to support production of pneudraulic systems rework, modification, or overhaul. You will direct overall maintenance of aircraft for flight readiness. You will control technical and administrative operations of artisans to support the overhaul and repair of aircraft, engine fuel, and oil pneudraulic accessories. You will diagnose the cause of operational failures to determine the extent of repairs or replacement of faulty hydraulic or pneumatic components. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1)Analyze technological developments in determining support requirements; 2) Interpret blue prints, schematics, specifications, technical bulletins and directives microfilm, etc.; 3) coordinate workload for the rework, repair, manufacture, and modification of pneudraulics systems and related components; 4) Review and monitor rework procedures on in-process workload; 5) Assign start and completion dates for assigned workload to maintain desired customer requirements; 6) Determine and estimate material availability and shop capacity to support workload negotiations for new and assigned work.
