As the Medical Education Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of Medical Education programs from inception to execution. You will act as a true business partner within Medial Education and cross-functional internal teams to ensure delivery of the highest quality and excellent customer experience. The objective is to support Medical Education and Marketing programs, primarily supporting national, local, and offsite surgeon cadaveric training events and other medical education activities for the Company.
What you will be responsible for:
– Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing medical education events that align with company vision, and brand and deliver a positive and memorable experience for attendees. Accountable to ensure that all meetings and events are executed to the highest standard.
– Assist with strategic planning and organization of a comprehensive calendar of Medical Education events aligned to the annual plan. Executes end-to-end logistics of national, local, and regional events according to plan, ensuring delivery of an exceptional customer experience in all facets of the events.
– – Researches and recommends program site selection; manages a cross-functional team of external vendors to ensure the highest quality events are delivered.
– Reviews and manages all event logistics including, agendas, banquet orders, event orders, site management, contracting, attendee accommodations, advertising, print materials, entertainment, hospitality, catering, A/V equipment, production companies, special events, and executive accommodations.
– Establishes, implements, and maintains project management tools for event processes, including events calendar coordination and registration.
– Develops standards and procedures for events, including establishing best practices for events.
– Manage events budget, evaluate results against goals, and generate learnings for improvement.
– – Coordinates within the Medical Education team for program-specific HCP-consultant support.
– Administers Medical Education and customer database information to support various marketing research and corporate communication activities.
– Handles financial transactions for event invoices.

## Qualifications
– A bachelors degree in business, communications, or sciences is required.
– A minimum of two (2) years combined successful medical education, meeting and events, or marketing experience in a product company is required.
– Medical device experience is strongly preferred.
– Experience with event registration software (Cvent) strongly preferred
