Job Summary and Qualifications

The Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring the assigned central telemetry of the adult age patient and documents sample strips indicating usual rhythm, as well as arrhythmia’s. He/She reports changes in telemetry screens for immediate follow-up action and reports equipment problems for corrective action. He/She is also responsible for answering the call bell system and appropriately relaying needs of the patient to the appropriate medical personnel.

What qualifications you will need:

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

EKG Certificate
