The AWS Network Infrastructure Design and Deployment Team (NIDD) is searching for a passionate and talented Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to drive network scaling projects in N. America. You will assess the demand requirements along with available network resources to determine and drive prime solutions for our customers. You will work with stakeholders to complete pre-requisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity. You will lead programs with goals to improve infrastructure resource utilization and availability. You will work with teams across the ADC Organization to effectively plan and deliver scaled data center network capacity.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen.
Key job responsibilities
– Track project milestones and engineer work against critical path timelines for a portfolio of projects and work with stakeholders (networking engineers/tech program managers/senior management) to define requirements and processes.
– Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
– Provide project progress reporting on a regular basis and responsible for end to end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
– Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
– Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
– Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

The Network Infrastructure Design and Deployment Team (NIDD) oversees the design and deployment of cable infrastructure within ADC regions.

Basic Qualifications
– 3 years of technical infrastructure management experience
– Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
– Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Preferred Qualifications
– Excellent written composition and verbal communication skills and basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
