Job Description

You will assemble machinery ranging from the size of a table to the size of a house. Machines used include sheer machines, pipe threaders, band saws, and various tack welders. Tack welding will be taught. Candidates need to bring their own basic hand and power tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is an assembly-style shop with no robotics in the process. The plant is quiet as each piece of machinery is custom-built one at a time. Our client does not perform the process of heat treating; they only manufacture the equipment for the industries they support. The work schedule is 1st shift only, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime if required (40-50 hours a week). The shop environment is clean, and the atmosphere is similar to that of a job shop. Compensation is $18-21/hour.
