Benefits Specialist, 33 Lewis Rd United Health Services is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our Total Rewards department at 33 Lewis Rd in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

Overview

The Benefits Specialist is responsible for providing guidance to employees on the eligibility, costs, and coverage of the UHS benefits offerings and assisting with the administration of all benefit and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, and 403(b) plans.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

Associates degree in human resources or related field

3-5 years of experience in human resources and/or benefits administration

5 or more years of experience in human resources and/or benefits administration may be considered to satisfy the degree requirement

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree

Experience in healthcare preferred

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

Not Applicable

Preferred:

CBP Certification in Benefits

Certification in Human Resources (SHRM-CP, PHR)
