Supervisor Patient Access Care ED-Evening, UHS Binghamton General Hospital United Health Services is seeking a Supervisor Patient Access Care ED-Evening to join our WMC Access Care department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$25.12 – $35.87 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview

The Patient Access Care Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of all functions and serves as the liaison between the patient and the facility. The Patient Access Supervisor integrates the departments services with the hospitals primary functions, develops/implements policies and procedures that guide or support service, assesses and improves department performance, and ensures orientation and continuing education of departmental staff. They serve as a key promoter of process improvements, which strives to meet and exceed the needs of its customers.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent, with five (5) years experience in access care, customer service or a related field, and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree; with five (5) years experience in access care, customer service or a related field, and a minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.

License/Certification

Preferred:

Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM)
