Correctional Officer

Northumberland County Jail has immediate openings for Correctional Officers (see attached job description). Full Time and Part Time positions available. On January 1, 2023, the starting hourly rate for Correctional Officers will be $18, per hour with $.50 shift premium hours of 2:00 PM – 6 AM. On-Site Interviews Monday-Friday, 9:00 am 1:00 pm. 

Scheduled Pay Raises:

2025 – $18.75 Hourly Rate

2026 – $19.50 Hourly Rate
