The RMA Senior Information Lifecycle Management Lead will ensure physical and electronic archives are managed and operated in compliance with GSK policies. Specifically, this role is responsible for overseeing and executing the records destruction process in compliance with the organizations policies and legal requirements. The role involves coordinating with various departments, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely and secure disposal of records in various formats and media. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of the destruction activities, conducting audits and quality checks, and providing reports and recommendations for improvement.

In this role you will
Plan, schedule, and monitor the records destruction process for physical and electronic records
Maintain a comprehensive and updated inventory of records, including their location and destruction dates
Ensure that the records destruction process meets the legal, regulatory, and industry standards and best practices as well as follows the organizations retention schedule, policies, and procedures
Coordinate with Legal to maintain retention schedules and ensure archive systems are configured with current retention periods
Partner with internal and external parties, such as RMA archivists, records custodians, records coordinators, records management staff, IT staff, vendors, and auditors
Manage the records destruction contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers; verify and document the records destruction activities and outcomes, such as certificates of destruction, invoices, receipts, and logs

Basic Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelors degree and experience in records management, information management, library science, or related field
Proven experience in records management, including records destruction

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly a good working knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. GxP, ICH) as they apply to records management
Knowledge of records retention and disposition schedules, policies, and procedures; knowledge of records destruction methods, techniques, and tools for various formats and media
Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and industry requirements and best practices for records management and records destruction
Skills in records management, collaboration, and office software such as OpenText Content Manager, Microsoft 365 suite of products
Skills in project management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
Certification in records management, such as CRM, IGP, or CIP
