Job Title: Systems Engineer
Job Description
As a Systems Engineer, you will assist in the development of system requirements from customer Statements of Work (SOW) and contract Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). You will be responsible for system design and integration onto airborne, ground, and mobile platforms. Additionally, you will develop test plans, specifications, and other related system engineering documents, interface with program and engineering management, and present requirements, designs, plans, and results to internal customers. Your role will also involve supporting troubleshooting and maintenance planning for fielded systems.
Hard Skills
Experience in at least one engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.)
Well-rounded understanding of other disciplines
System or component development for sensors (radar, cameras, SIGINT), weapons systems, RF and radio communications, systems integration onto collection platforms
Developing requirements or designing to requirements
System design and interface control
Compliance standards including military and avionics
Test plan and test procedure development and execution
Integration, troubleshooting, and system testing
Verification and validation of systems to internal and customer requirements
Soft Skills
Interfacing with program and engineering management
Developing and presenting requirements, designs, plans, and results to internal customers
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Frederick, Maryland and some days remote.
