LPN/MA Quality/Risk Mgr

Responsible for providing nursing care consistent with the goals and philosophy of the Wythe Physician Practices. Required to provide professional nursing care and assists in the delivery of health care management for patients. This position requires strong clinical and critical thinking skills. Must be able to multi-task in a very fast paced, family practice/internal medical office environment. May be required to help cover other areas as needed in all Physician Practices clinics. Quality Manager will collaborate with the Market Director and hospital clinical leadership teams to implement, monitor, and evaluate the organizations healthcare quality and safety programs, to improve patient outcomes. Will perform a variety of duties related to analysis and evaluation, which includes creating and implementing policies, system processes, that improve patient care and safety. Serves as a resource for clinical staff for risk, quality, and nursing related issues. Ensures that all offices are in compliance with ever-changing legislation and safety regulations. Acts as a liaison to the Market Director, facilities legal team, and outside agencies to mitigate and manage risk. Will look into any RL solution submitted on the practices behalf.

Minimum Education

Hold an active MA certification or LPN licensure

Minimum Work Experience

At least 6 months to one-year progressive experience

Experience in a leadership/quality role.

Required License/Certifications

Must hold an active and unrestricted Virginia nursing license or must be compact state eligible.

Valid Virginia Driver’s License.
