Physical Security Captain

Amentum

Amentum is seeking a Physical Security Captain to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a training program structured for compliance with U.S. Navy and Amentum Directives; evaluates, tracks, and documents same.

Supervises department personnel including scheduling and performance related actions.

Responds to Emergencies as required, and acts as Hurricane coordinator for WPB reporting and Mass notification via AUDIX.

Compiles/submits reports as required.

Develop/Implement department instructions as required.

Interact with all levels of management.

Administers the Palm Beach International (AUTEC) assigned parking program.

Assumes duties of the Physical Security Chief in his/her absence.

Acts as Primary Trainer and POC for all training and performance efficiencies pertaining to WPB/ASD Pass & ID functions and responsibilities.

Lenel Administrator for badging and hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 5 years related experience working as a Manager or Supervisor in the Military, Civilian, Industrial Security or comparable environment.

High school diploma.

Meet minimum physical standards which include the ability to perform normal or emergency duties requiring physical exertion such as standing/walking/driving/jumping for extended periods of time.

Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Excellent skills or mastery of the MS office suite.

Valid Drivers License is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Lenel OnGuard program for badging and hardware troubleshooting.

AS/AA or higher degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent degree.

5 years or more of experience working in a government secure environment responsible for the handling and protection of classified assets and media.
