Title: Strategic Sourcing Supervising Associate
The Strategic Sourcing Supervising Associate manages strategic sourcing and supplier relationship processes, including sourcing, negotiations, and vendor management. You will be responsible for increasing the capture rate by: increasing the accuracy of management information on spending patterns and internal customer satisfaction; standardizing products and services to produce economies of scale; establishing and monitoring supplier continuous improvement objectives, commonality of order processing and supplier performance measures; reducing the number of supplier relationships to be managed; and creating a single strategic focus for firm-wide procurement planning. You will participate in implementing organizational strategic plans, and interfaces occasionally with various EY professionals.
Work Schedule Requirement : Must work 9am – 5pm East Coast and/or 8am-4pm West Coast to cover a shared mailbox to answer Client Servers needs throughout the day. This role is 100% Remote Environment
Your key responsibilities
Manage Vendors, Tools, and Reports
You will lead strategic sourcing initiative for Secondary and Primary Research tools and report purchases for the SaT US team. Liaison with Group Procurement/Independence teams by following the EY standard processes to successfully onboard and maintain tools. This will require management of the vendor, following internal process to stay in compliance with BRIDGE, Contracts, IRA, and SEC regulations/policies.
Develop/Maintain an internal database of tools that are being purchased, what they were used for, usage, billing, account logins and how to budget for them each year.
Manage the EY SharePoint site to communicate with the consultants what tools are available to them, costs associated, how to use the resource and who the vendor contact is for questions.
Continually survey and analyze best practices for techniques and processes. Be part of team that responds to users requests throughout the day via a shared mailbox with an SLA of response within the hour of receipt.
Finance Process and Chargebacks
Ensure processes are in place for validation of payments, invoices and work orders for SRVM suppliers and contracts.
Address and manage contract/invoice disputes in collaboration with legal, procurement and finance teams.
Assist with managing the external content P-Card purchases and reconcile with matching receipts to ensure proper accounting and charge backs to client codes.
Administer the monthly chargeback process to allocate costs from Admin codes to engagement code to recoup the costs of the tools used on the cases.
Shared mailbox and Client Server support
You will be part of a team that manages a shared mailbox throughout the day with coverage of 9am – 5pm EST to help answer, respond, and direct the Client servers. Teams will need support on purchasing one off reports for their client engagements and we have an SLA to respond to them within the hour the request has been received. This role has set hours that has to be kept in order to deliver support to the client servers throughout the US especially given the time zone differences.
Knowledge of all the firm wide tools, our sharepoint site, the 240 specialty tools that the US SaT subscribes to, how they work, what they do, and how to get members access will be essential in this role in order to help educate and drive usage for the client servers.

To qualify you must have
BA or equivalent experience
5 years of relevant experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail skills
Strong focus on providing excellent experience to internal and external clients
Ideally, you’ll also have
Previous working knowledge of EY Tools, such as Mercury, BRIDGE, and Sourcing requests
Strong experience managing and reviewing data in Excel
Experience with invoicing, journal entries, and tracking of payments

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $77,800 to $145,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $93,300 to $165,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
