Elementary School Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 School Year

AnthroMed Education is a Therapy Group of SLPs working in schools nationwide. Speech is our niche and we are committed to providing all of our SLPs with the necessary support and resources to be successful working in schools.
We are growing our team in Middle Tennessee and are currently interviewing licensed clinicians interested in joining our team and working in one of our partner elementary schools in Portland!

Bi-weekly team meetings to network and brainstorm with other SLPs!
Dedicated SLP Clinical support including 1:1 caseload guidance, speech therapy materials database, along with a materials stipend!

Responsibilities:
Assess students’ communication skills (e.g., articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive
language, voice, pragmatic communication skills, etc.) for the purpose of identification of
communication disorders, eligibility determination and treatment recommendations.
Develop treatment plans, materials, and specific interventions to positively impact the adverse
impact on communication disorders.
Interpret medical reports within the scope of practice of Speech-Language Pathology to ensure
information and treatment interventions are appropriate to meet individual student needs.
Collaborate with a variety of individuals (e.g., parents’ teachers, heath professionals,
administrators, IEP team members, etc.) to solve problems, communicate information and provide
appropriate services to students.
Participate in meetings and trainings (e.g., IEP Meetings, training opportunities, staffings, etc.) to
both gather and share information to support students & gain professional knowledge.
Respond to inquiries from (parents, teachers, students, and staff, etc.) and provide information
promptly.
Maintain files and student records (assessment reports, progress reports, service delivery logs,
medical billing, student progress and data, uploading specific documents, etc.) so these may be
available as required & maintain compliance.
Coordinate meetings to address student referrals, evaluation results, the development of annual IEPs
(Individualized Education Plans) with parents, students, and other school staff.
Research resources and methods to provide evidence-based practices that address student needs &
services.
Prepare and provide written materials (e.g., memos, medical billing information/documentation, assessment reports, and other essential documentation, etc.)
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Tennessee School Services Provider License
Desire to work in a team-oriented school setting and a passion for providing quality speech therapy services to students
