Position Overview:
The purpose of this position is to achieve a standard of cleanliness in the most efficient way to serve customers/tenants with great quality. The Day Porter Is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of commercial properties.
Position Responsibilities:
• Maintain a high standard of excellence
• Clean main entrance glass, spot clean reception and stair glass.
• Empty and replace liners on all exterior trash receptacles
• Check and spot clean restrooms
• Review restrooms and restock products as needed (i.e., soap, towels, tissue and deodorizers, etc.)
• Pour water down the drains in all restrooms
• Dusting of mullions and exterior windowsills
• Dust mop main lobby and reception area floor
• Dusting of light fixtures and metal work in lobby and reception.
• Check common area and clean interior of elevator cabs
• Walk/police interior or exterior stairwells
• Vacuum
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors
• Wet mop hard surface floors (spills and bio clean up
• Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linens
• Report inventory and supplies to Supervisor/Manager
• Report lost and found items to Supervisor/Manager
• Assist in maintaining storage closets clean and organized
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
