Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager in Corporate Risk as part of Corporate Risk Strategy, Planning & Governance. In this role the Senior Lead Product Manager will lead and align cross-functional teams to create exceptional omni-channel experiences and products with measurable business outcomes and customer benefits.
The role is responsible for key business and customer metrics as well as the related processes and policies, including risk and controls. Support may span across Corporate Risk which include key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.
In this role, you will:
Lead a work stream of projects in the Corporate Risk portfolio for Tech Solutions and Business Process Integration programs and initiatives
Manage communication across horizontal and vertical teams and business partners; and leads interrelated work
Accountable individual for program/product/project delivery of significant risk, complexity, scope, and financial impact for a single large functional area or a combination of small diverse functional areas
Serve as the primary liaison between the business unit and various support partners in achieving business deliverables including planning and implementation of strategies and process advancements
Establish priorities and drives accountability for assigned initiatives, providing leadership to ensure solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to optimize effectiveness and create efficiencies as appropriate
Work with key internal partners to distill complex concepts into pragmatic and simplified/targeted solutions
Develop and implements reporting/information delivery/presentations with key stakeholders and senior management within responsible area, including root cause, cost/benefit, and risk analyses
Facilitate the front to back solution design value chain for the accountable Risk Executive. This includes Ideation, design, requirements gathering, documentation, implementation planning and execution
Provide direction to a cross-functional team using business acumen and expertise; does not have direct reports
Required Qualifications:
7 years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to serve as the primary liaison between the business unit and various support partners in achieving business deliverables, including planning and implementation of strategies and process advancements
Ability to navigate conflict and independently resolve in a professional manner
Ability to develop reporting and presentations
Technology experience within the financial services industry
Experience in First-line risk or Second line risk management functions
Experience in one or a combination of the following: Process design and deployment, Application design, or Strategic portfolio management
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job posting
