Description
The St. Croix Hospice Financial Analyst position supports the finance team and others across the organization. This position is a key contributor to the monthly reporting package, will utilize analysis and reporting to maintain the integrity of the financials, and assist with special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
Essential Functions
Work in partnership with the greater St. Croix Hospice Finance team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial executive packages with an understanding of all variances, articulation of key drivers, and suggested action plans.
Prepare our monthly bank and debt compliance calculations, including cash flow projections and ad-hoc analyses.
Continually develop and refine internal financial modeling and implement process improvements.
Understand and incorporate industry specific metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support fact-based business decisions.
Assist with special projects for merger and acquisitions, de novo entities, budgeting and payroll analysis.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with all HIPAA regulations and requirements. Treats all patient information as confidential and utilizes protected health information on a minimum necessary basis.
Qualifications
Education/ Licensure/ Certification Requirements and Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field (required)
3 years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and preparing financial reports (required)
Advanced proficiency level in Excel (required)
Ability to pass DHS background study

Proficient in the English language. Able to read, speak, and write English in a clear and concise manner required.
