Historic French Lake Auto Parts, Inc. has been a leader in the automotive recycling industry for over 68 years. Our inventory is always expanding and the amount of scrap we process is always growing. Due to the continued growth in our company, we are looking to add to our team. Candidates must be able to learn in a fast-paced environment. Basic automotive knowledge, previous mechanical skills, and ability to operate forklifts and miscellaneous equipment appreciated. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for overtime. General Shop Help The ideal candidate will be able to assist other employees in the shop with multiple duties. This position may assist with dismantling vehicles for inventory and sold parts (engines, transmissions, transfer cases, etc.). Additional responsibilities may include inspecting, testing and marking parts in a timely and safe manner. This position will work in connection with the shop in order to ensure all parts are properly inspected, tagged and placed in their proper locations. Additional duties will include helping the inventory department by taking pictures of each part to upload to our inventory system. This position will assist customers with parts pick up and also assist in loading parts for shipments or walk in customers. With a positive reputation after 68 years in the automotive recycling industry, we are always buying vehicles and scrap leaving no shortage of work. We process thousands of vehicles a year ranging from 1930 s-2000 s. If you are a hardworking person who loves playing with cars, this is the place for you!
