Job Summary

The bookstore position includes the following tasks:

Customer service to all guests at both the bookstore and Lancerzone

Cashiering , stocking, and textbook department duties to include order fulfillment, pulling from the textbook area, re-shelving and organizing stock

Other duties as assigned

Candidates that possess other skills such as merchandising, photo taking and sign making will be put to good use.

Looking for both morning and evening availability

-Looking for students with availability between 7:45am and 7:30pm, for a 4 hour shift

Special Instructions Summary

Applicants will be on their feet during their shift and expected to stay busy.

Applicants must attach class schedule AND list their availability separate. Bookstore student workers in good standing, are eligible to work semester after semester.

Pay Rate $14.00

Location Grayslake

Total Hours per week 10-16

Work Schedule

The bookstore is open to online orders only/Lancerzone is open to customers M-TH 7:45-7:30 and Friday 7:45-4:30. Student shifts are approximately 4 hours. There are 5-6 Saturdays shifts that are assigned on a first come first served. Applicant must have availability between stated hours and will be scheduled according to that availability. Position runs through the end of the academic year with rehire possible each semester the student is at CLC .
