Job Title: Inventory Assistant
Job Summary: The Inventory Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and supporting the overall operations of the warehouse. This role involves tracking inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts, and assisting with the receipt and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, recording new items, and updating inventory databases.
Stock Counts: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
Receiving and Dispatching: Assist with the receipt of incoming goods, including unloading trucks, checking for accuracy and quality, and storing items in designated locations. Prepare and dispatch outgoing shipments.
Data Entry: Enter inventory data into warehouse management systems and generate inventory reports as needed.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the Inventory Manager.
Organization: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring that inventory is stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff to coordinate inventory activities and support overall warehouse operations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
