Solution Design Controls Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Solution Design Controls Engineer: This position
provides solutions to complex customer problems at the request of the
sales account manager. The scope of the position primarily surrounds
conveyance and sortation control system modifications and upgrades. The
Solution Design Engineers process includes designing, costing, and
proposing solutions that optimizes aging customer control systems. This
position is primarily remote with up to 10% travel including site visits

range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 – $140,000 at the time
of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors
such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do In This Role: Solve complex
customer problems surrounding convey and sort system modifications and
upgrades by designing a solution that often time optimizes aging
material handling systems. Understands the design of complex systems
that integrate mechanical design, electrical controls hardware,
programming and software to develop complete controls solutions for
customers. Reads and comprehend schematics, PLC programs and appropriate
follow-up of technical details. Completes recommendations related to
site productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in
customer satisfaction. Provide estimates for semi-complex controls
projects to other solution development resources and teams. Performs
complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes
and application of products to system design. Performs full range of
standard work for the professional field. Requesting proposals for Alan
Bradley hardware, siemens hardware, scanners, label print and apply
hardware, and other associated controls hardware through various
vendors. What We Are Looking For: BS/BA in related engineering
discipline or advanced degree but may be substituted with experience.
Certification may be required in some areas. Demonstrate and apply a
broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion
