JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 national
engineering/architecture consulting firm with growing water/wastewater
and renewable energy practices. As a result, we have a full-time
position available for a project manager/engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities: Performing and overseeing technical design tasks
Carrying out studies/evaluations, treatment process analyses; writing
technical reports Mentoring and providing technical guidance to project
team and junior staff Market and technology research to support client
projects and business development efforts in the wastewater and
renewable energy markets Serving as the project manager for wastewater
design and evaluation projects and feasibility studies Managing project
budgets, schedules, and deliverables Ensuring quality control and
quality assurance reviews Supporting project development and proposals,
including scope and price development, drafting technical proposals,
coordinating proposal tasks, and providing or coordinating peer review
Managing client relationships; coordinating and leading client meetings
and correspondence; coordinating with other internal client managers
where applicable Assisting in project on-site commissioning activities
Representing the company at industry events such as conferences or trade
shows, when assigned Travel will be required (10-20%) Required
Qualifications: A bachelors degree (or higher) in civil, chemical,
environmental or related engineering from an accredited college or
university At least eight years of relevant experience The ideal
candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:
Water/Wastewater and digester project design experience including:
Knowledge of wastewater treatment process design and technologies,
including aerobic and anaerobic biological systems and biogas treatment
and utilization Developing plans and specifications Technology selection
Aiding in construction and life cycle cost estimates Successful project
management experience (achieving targets for scope, schedule and budget)
Self-motivation Ability to work independently and within a team. Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail Effective verbal and
written communication skills Strong time management skills with the
ability to prioritize while calmly working under pressure to meet
deadlines and changing demands. Demonstrated ability as a critical
thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
Experience with project management across project phases:
conceptual/preliminary design, detailed design, construction, and
commissioning phases. Experience with EPC or design-build project
