Job Description:This position is responsible for performing general
housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and associated buildings in a
sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital and Joint
Commission standards.

Job Essentials
Cleans patient rooms or dismissal units; duties include but are not limited
to disinfecting all surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning of sinks, counter
areas, shower and toilet, dusting, mopping and vacuuming, restocking
paper products and shampooing the carpet.
Disinfects all public areas duties include but are not limited to sinks,
toilets, washing walls, damp mop, and refill paper products,
stairwells, damp disinfecting all areas, disinfecting handrails,
replacement of blinds and shampooing carpets, buffing or waxing of floors in
areas where needed.
Follows proper procedure for separating regular waster versus biohazardous
waster, disposal of needles, and storage of clean and dirty linens.
Cleans Ancillary areas duties include but are not limited to wearing back pack
vacuum, cleaning restrooms, trash disposal, damp disinfecting
Disposes of Sharps container per policy (at certain care sites).
Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides
by service behavior standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift Details
Wednesday through Sunday or Thursday through Monday
6am – 2:30pm
Full time / full time benefits

Minimum Qualifications
Biohazardous Waste certification obtained within 6 months of hire is required
at certain care sites

Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate
dependent upon experience.$18.29 – $21.92
