In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This will give Altera the autonomy and flexibility it needs to fully accelerate its growth and more effectively compete in the FPGA industry, which serves a broad array of markets, including the data center, communications, industrial, automotive, aerospace and defense sectors.

This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Talent Sourcer to join our global team and support our hiring needs.

Primary responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies

Strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking cold calling complex internet searches and research

Source active candidates from online databases contact lists internal databases and employee referrals

Act as a search expert for a functional technical areas by understanding hiring needs position specifications and search requirements

Partner with recruiters to generate ideas leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process

Screen candidates for availability interest level visa status salary range relocation needs and basic qualifications

Versed in Boolean logic and modern searches

Interact at all levels of the organization

Implement targeted sourcing initiatives

Generate high quality pipeline of candidates

The Ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

A team player with a high sense of urgency

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are essential to this position

Flexibility and willing to support multiple functions business units

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to take initiative and build strong productive relationships

This position is as an Intel-Altera Contract Employee ICE for Six months.

Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 4 years of sourcing experience with a recruiting search firm agency or inhouse recruiting sourcing team

Preferred Qualifications

3 years sourcing/recruiting experience for technical roles in Semiconductor industry

FPGA Business Acumen

Experience developing sourcing strategies to drive diversity initiatives and hard to fill requisitions

Experience developing sourcing strategies utilizing Talent Market Intelligence supply demand competition trends

Experience building relationship with passive candidates and transforming them to proactive/active candidates

Experience with Recruiting Tools, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter and recruiting CRMs

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $52,000.00-$200,000.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
