LJB is looking to add an IT Infrastructure Lead to help support all LJB systems, offices, and employees. The right candidate will help advance LJBs use of technology and develop and execute long-term strategies. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring the security and efficiency of network and server systems, managing virtualization and cloud technologies, integrating new acquisitions, and providing technical support to enhance overall productivity and operational resilience. The IT Infrastructure Lead will also be key in disaster recovery planning, data protection initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to keep LJBs technology infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud at the cutting edge.
Pay: $84,000-$127,000/year
IT INFRASTRUCTURE LEAD ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions.
Plan and deploy server hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Integrate IT infrastructure during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transition and integration with existing systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configuration and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in infrastructure management.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance, security, and efficiency.
Plan, manage, and track projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
Ensure VDI systems are secure, reliable, and perform well.
Optimize network performance by troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
Manage and maintain physical and virtual servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
IT INFRASTRUCTURE LEAD ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, such as system administrator, network engineer, or IT support.
Proven experience with managing servers, networks, and storage systems.
Proficiency with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Entra, Intune, and BitTitan.
Demonstrated experience planning and executing technical migrations, including user data, email, calendars, contacts, and files.
Expertise in data backup and recovery solutions to maintain data integrity during migrations.
Knowledge of security measures and compliance requirements related to IT infrastructure and migrations.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to support cross-functional initiatives effectively.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
