What youll do.
Assist with the collaboration with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients across different settings.
Help to focus on prevention, diagnosis, treatment planning, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team while emphasizing overall patient well-being.
Support team by providing, monitoring, and evaluating a wide range of occupational health services.
Support team by providing health expertise to functional groups (HR, Legal, Procurement), H&S, Emergency Response, and Leadership as required.
Assist with developing a health promotion strategy and initiatives in support of; the public health agenda, specific occupational health risks, and disease prevalence.
Administratively formulate, review, and update Health Center procedures and policies
Conducts Industrial Hygiene exposure monitoring (noise, benzene) as directed by an Industrial Hygienist.

Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.
As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Drivers License is required.
Previous experience is considered an asset.
Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education
Must be enrolled in a Health and Safety Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
Candidates currently enrolled in either a masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
