This will be accomplished by utilizing detailed product and market knowledge to drive opportunities through the sales cycle. This sales representative will be accountable to achieve monthly phone and activity goals while driving sales pipeline health and exceeding sales forecast through customer interactions, business plan creation and execution, and teaming with field sales representatives when appropriate.As an Inside Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Using data & analytics to identify customer prospects attractive to the businessEstablishing connections with customer prospects that ultimately develop into real business opportunitiesEstablishing and maintaining customer relationships through a comprehensive understanding of the customers business/sales models to help manage and influence business growthMaintaining and updating a working sales plan with strategies and tactics to drive sales growthDemonstrating a proficient level of technical product knowledge & application understanding to identify solutions that meet customer needsWorking as a collaborative team to drive opportunities efficiently; providing a positive customer experienceSharing best practices with the greater team to promote a positive team environmentProficiently identifying market trends and account needs in order to react to market activity and reach favorable sales goalsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Outside sales or inside sales experienceAccount management experienceAbility to work effectively in a sales team environment – Creative problem solving abilities are preferredChannel & end user customer management; selling skills experience with ability to develop account business plans based on priorities that will exceed forecast over a sustained period.Operate Salesforce and Power Bi to manage/document activities, interpret and manage pipelines, etc.Project Management & Key Account PlanningAbility to adapt to a rapidly changing work environmentStrong organizational skills, with the ability to stay on tasks and maintain high productivity levels while working both in the office and remotelyDistribution channel/ end user sales experienceGood presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large groupsExcellent computer skills, MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word; SalesForceSalesforce.com Experience is desiredSkills include solution selling, listening skills, gain commitmentWork location: Minneapolis/St Paul, MN location preferred.
