IDR is seeking a Software Engineer for one of our top Healthcare clients in the Rochester, MN. This is a 1 year remote contract role. Responsibilities: Design and Build Back-End Services: Lead the design and development of cloud-based micro-services using cutting-edge software frameworks to support data-centric clinical and analytic applications. Ensure Uptime and Scalability: Guarantee the reliability, resilience, and scalability of back-end services, meeting uptime and accuracy targets even as data volumes and traffic grow. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with data engineering, platform, and solutions teams to translate requirements into efficient code, supporting the needs of medical practitioners and patients. DevOps and Agile Implementation: Participate in DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration frameworks, utilizing languages like Go, Python, and Java for deployment automation and configuration management. REQUIREMENTS: 5 years as a Software Engineer (Strong front end/ some back end) 4 years of experience with Web application development (jQuery for JavaScript and Bootstrap CSS) Strong experience with SQL (Capability to write SQL statements to query or update data) 2 years of coding application experience or service in a high level language, specifically C# programming.
