POSITION TITLE: Bakery HelperBakery ClerkACCOUNTABLE TO: Bakery ManagerPRIMARY OBJECTIVETo provide wrapping, stocking and customer service support for the Bakery Department required for meet the daily sales and to ensure a positive shopping experience for customersNATURE AND SCOPEPrimary emphasis in this position is on meeting daily needs in preparing, stocking and displaying product in order to ensure maximum department sales, product availability and provide high level of customer service. Primary challenges are product knowledge, sequence of workflow and production speed. This position requires knowledge of bakery product preparation, food safety regulations, ongoing social skills/verbal interaction, reading, walking, standing, moderate lifting, and operation of finishing and wrapping equipment. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs. Assignments and work direction provided by Bakery Manager or person in charge.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS1.
