TITLE: Occupational Therapist (2 Positions)LOCATION: Jefferson County Region (1 Position); Lewis County Region (1 Position, includes Pre-K Services)RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Provide occupational therapy services to students with disabilities as well as those identified as benefiting from serviceProvide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy and learning.Record and report student progress.Collaborate with colleagues in general education.Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.QUALIFICATIONS:NYS Licensed Occupational TherapistKnowledge of the AOTA Standards and PracticesKnowledge of school-based therapyExperience with diagnostic toolsAbility to work collaboratively as a member of a teamExcellent written and oral communication skillsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $54,155-56,355 annual salary commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
