The User Experience Digital Designer will transform our software into easy-to-use products for our clients across the all-digital platforms (e.g. Web, Mobile, PoS). This role involves gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, building mockups and wire frames and building navigation components to create both functional and appealing features that address our clients needs and help us grow our customer base. This role will focus on both user and customer experience aspects of our end to end digital flows.
NOTE: We have a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and two days working at home.
ESSENTIAL
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
Gain understanding of how the business flow informs and influences the user flow.
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables).
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
Employ accessible design standards that meet ADA, WCAG, etc. guidelines.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project requirements.
Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Analyze user feedback and usage data to inform and refine design solutions.
Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance the user experience.
Work closely with development teams to ensure the technical implementation of designs meets the desired user experience.
Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.
Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate ideas and solutions.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
Coordinate with project managers to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues that arise.

YOUR TRACK RECORD
Bachelors degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of successful projects.Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc and InVision).Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Good time-management skills.Good communication and presentation skills.
SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION REQUIRES:
Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments preferred.
