JOB SUMMARY:
Perform the installation and repair of automatic fire sprinkler systems. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, installation methods and can compile material lists for fire sprinkler systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Install, Test & Service Fire Sprinkler Systems with an emphasis on service and repair
· Field Surveying
· Understand and compile listing of system piping for fabrication and/or repair
· Coordination for installation between trades
· Managing cost and understanding budgets
· Oversee & assist in the training of Fire Sprinkler Helper
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
· General mechanical knowledge
· Minimum of 5 years’ Experience as a Foreman Sprinkler Foreman with ability to work and trouble shoot all areas of sprinkler systems including pumps, dry valves etc.
.Basic NFPA 13 code knowledge
· OSHA 10 or 30 preferred but not required.
. Basic computer/tablet skills and ability to work in a software program
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Must work in an efficient manner.
· Self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
· Demonstrated competency in verbal and written business communication skills.
· Able to complete documentation and administrative duties as necessary.
· Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company guidelines.
. Service Trade experience is a plus but not required.
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
