The Production Associate will operate all packaging equipment to manufacture high quality finished lubricant products in a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible manner. Some of the processes involved use hazardous and volatile materials under high temperature and pressure. Typical working conditions include outside weather and elements, blowing air, heat, noise, vibration and occasionally working from heights and confined spaces. Production Associates must follow safe work practices including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). In addition, The Production Associate performs various duties required to keep their assigned processing unit/area operating safely and at specified production/run rates.

Responsibilities May Include

Accurately and safely operating all production equipment.

Manufacturing product according to scheduling requirements and customer needs.

Filing a variety of containers from 4oz to 55-gallon containers, placing them in cases to be stacked or directly on pallets so they may be stacked or staged for customer needs.

Reading, understanding and following documentation necessary to assemble various types of packaged products.

Operating, adjusting and monitoring production process to achieve optimum efficiency.

Adapting to changes in schedule due to customer needs, breakdowns and business needs.

Accurately accounting for all finished product produced and raw materials consumed.

Performing and documenting all quality checks to ensure finished product is being manufactured as specified at all times.

Physically and visually inspecting raw materials, such as containers, and alerting personnel regarding defects.

Taking ownership of all production activities and communicate variances and or concerns to management and scheduling.

Assuring compliance with all Company policies and Heath Safety Environmental Quality (HSEQ) procedures and training requirements.

Prioritizing and organizing required job activities and completing them on a timely basis.

Working independently without constant supervision.

Maintaining proper housekeeping to ascertain a safe and environmentally sound work area.

Being physically able to perform assigned tasks.

Stacking the inspected and filled cases onto a pallet and ensuring the case is sealed, dated, and labeled correctly.

Stacking up to 700-3000 cases per day depending on the production line.

Be a team player focusing on contributing to the organization and communicating with others.

Required Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience in operations

Basic Microsoft Office computer skills

Must be willing and able, with or without a reasonable accommodation, to perform all duties, including lifting (raise and transport up to 50 pounds), bending, stooping, moderate manual labor, confined space work, climbing, and working at various levels above ground

Preferred Qualifications

1 or more years of experience in manufacturing
