Job Title: Architectural Drafter
Job Description
We are currently hiring for an Architectural Designer/Draftsperson for an architectural design firm in Downtown Columbus. As the Architectural Designer/Draftsperson, you will primarily work within Revit to produce construction documents. The majority of projects you will work on are educational buildings ranging from K-12 to Higher Education.
Responsibilities:
– Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints using CAD software.
– Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
– Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and local building codes.
– Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.
– Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports.
– Conduct site visits to gather information and verify measurements.
– Maintain accurate records of all drawings and revisions.
This is a position where you will be a W-2 employee working on-site at the architecture firm. After a year of supporting this firm, you have the opportunity to transition to their employee. Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Columbus, Ohio.
Work Environment
The office is in Downtown Columbus next to Pins Mechanical & Jackie Os. Monday – Friday; in-office; 8am – 5pm.
