Frontend Developer

Job Description

A large financial technology organization is seeking a Frontend Developer that will sit fully remote for a contract role. This person will join a team that is working to create a new portal for new business to business customers. This portal is currently in the beta phase so you will be expected to work closely with the UI/UX designers to implement and develop new features from scratch using React, Javascript, Node and github as the repository.

Duties:

– Execute BU delivery with a bias for action enabled by technology discovery and collaboration with teammates

– Develop, configure and maintain custom apps across a variety of platforms (front end, middleware, CRM)

– Understand business objectives and translate into workable models or prototypes to finalize design and work estimation

– Author unit and functional tests to build-in quality; perform functional testing and code reviews on other team members work

– Document technical designs, specificaitons and processes to ensure maintainability.

– Understand options for observability and debugging solutions and when to apply them pragmatically
