Hiring Quality Control Technician / Mechanic to support equipment inspections before customer delivery. You will ensure that manufactured products meet the organizations standards of quality, reliability, and performance, a background in aerial, construction equipment, and heavy & light duty trucks is a plus CTOS Equipment including Boom, Bucket, Diggers, Dump, Service, Forestry and aerial cranes and other truck mounted equipment.

Background in auto, truck diesel, hydraulic, electrical wiring, schematics.

Monday – Friday, Day Shift starts at 5am – 3:30pm, Saturdays as needed.

Valid Driver’s Licenses and Basic Mechanics Tools.

No Fear of Heights and ability to work outdoors as needed

Essential Duties and Skills:

Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records.

Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.

Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other department managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.

Conduct visual and mechanical inspections and dielectric testing, and other tests on units as necessary to ensure quality and performance on the finished product.

Record data from test procedures and inspections

Able to troubleshoot and repair warranty issues pertaining to the unit

Document and report quality assurance issues

Assure ongoing compliance with safety, quality and industry requirements

Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Prepare unit for delivery to customer

Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with the company’s safety, quality procedures and policies.

Attend monthly safety meetings held by Custom Truck One Source.

General aptitude in working with common computer software (MS Office Suite, internet, etc.) to process orders. Knowledge of inventory software to process purchase orders and tracking inventory helpful.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is required.

Valid Driver’s license and mechanic tools.

3 plus years of related industry experience.

VoTech / Military Wheeled Mechanic / OJT or related training desired.

Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
