Description: Belcan is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our Platteville, WI 53818 operation. This role will also have oversight of our Bellevue and Cedar Rapids locations.
The successful candidate for this business-critical role will support Belcans core principles in earning trust as a true business partner, driving compliance and high performance through employee guidance and development, putting our people first building relationships and engaging our team, ensuring expectations for Belcan and Belcans customers are understood and exceeded. From these key objectives, the Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible to:
Partner with Operations, Leadership and the Corporate Human Resources team to deliver people solutions
Focus and delivery of ongoing performance management, engagement, compensation review, employee development and recognition
o Specific focus with engagement and retaining relations between satellite partners
Enforce and administrator Belcan HR policies and procedures; working closely with Belcans corporate HR team to assure compliance with all local and Federal laws governing such issues.
Fair and accurate management of Belcans employee relations, with a constant focus on continuous improvement
Manage employee relations investigations and disciplinary actions to maintain performance and standards of conduct throughout the business
Coordinate the hiring and termination process with HR Administration and Management teams; as well as conducting exit interviews, and utilizing exit interview data to target improvement of attrition and retention issues
Effectively manage and support new hire onboarding, including delivering new employee orientation
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services provided
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Human Resources
– Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus.
– Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Engagement, Compliance, Conflict Resolution
– Must be able to work onsite in the Platteville, Wisconsin office
– Must be able to travel once quarterly
Decisional Authority:
Under minimal supervision, frequently exercises independent judgment within scope of job and may make decisions with no existing guidelines. Such decisions must consider customer and employee impact, consistency of decision across the business and Belcan, and the fairness and defensibility of the decision/outcome.
Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $85,000-$95,000, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
