Medical Assembly- $18/HR- $19/HR

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Medical Assembler where you will be trained on various operations including packaging Medtronic diabetic testing kits. You will primarily stand on mats, follow work orders, and ensure quality over quantity. You will handle kits containing 5-10 items, register product ID numbers using a scanner, and set them onto racks for final packaging.

In addition, you will work at a station sitting down, performing hand assembly of diabetic needles. This repetitive task involves assembling parts ranging from the size of a pen cap to a sewing needle, with a goal of making up to 1600 parts per shift.

You may also learn coil winding, which involves using tweezers to set very fine wires into a clamp on a machine and monitoring as the machine winds the coils. This task requires using microscopes for inspection, which is the only microscope use in the building.

The final area involves entry-level machine operation, where you will monitor a machine that assembles diabetic needles, collect products into bags, label them, and ensure quality by watching for any jams.
