Job Title: Sanitation Technician III
Job Description
In this position, you will work in a food production facility, cleaning machinery and floors. With flour being a main ingredient, the floors need to be swept throughout the day to maintain a clean environment. The role requires maintaining high sanitary standards for equipment using sanitizing spray, brushes, and rags. The job is physically demanding, involving moving heavy machinery and equipment while cleaning.
Hard Skills
Brushing, wiping, and scraping down equipment
Scraping excess dough off machinery using plastic and metal scrapers
Pressure washing equipment with cleaning chemicals between production runs
Using bleach and industrial-grade detergent
Moving heavy production equipment
Maintaining equipment up to GMP standards

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Fargo, North Dakota.
Work Environment
You will work in a food production environment that makes dough for various products like pizzas, pies, and buns. The facility is kept clean but has flour in the air from mixing. Employees are required to wear a smock/gown, hair/beard nets, masks, eye protection, ear protection, and steel-toe boots. The work culture emphasizes maintaining focus and productivity in a 24-hour production facility. The position includes 6-8 hours of training on the day shift for quality and food safety. Shifts are on a 2-week rotating schedule with day and overnight shifts available. Pay ranges from $17-18 plus differential.
