Job Description

The CNC Lathe Operator will run the machine and be responsible for the output of parts. Daily tasks include loading material, conducting cycle starts, and unloading material. The role involves tooling and insert changes, making offsets, inspecting parts by blueprint using various measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, and documenting production runs. The operator will also make minor edits in the program using G&M codes. Once trained, the Lathe Operator will perform setups on Okuma and Daewoo machines.
