Summary:
The Assistant Superintendent has full responsibility for the onsite production of the project. This responsibility includes directing crafts personnel and subcontractors, providing quality control, assuring conformity to plans and specifications, maintaining sequences to meet schedule, maintaining short and long-term production schedules, conducting weekly job site coordination and safety meetings, scheduling equipment furnished by Nabholz, and administering job site safety program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Plan and supervise Foreman and/or craft activities – includes determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule, and documenting actual hours worked.
Coordinate assigned work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
Maintain liaison with owner, engineers, project manager, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work sequences, etc.) as required.
This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
All other tasks as assigned.
Education/Skill Requirements :
Educational and experience requirements include a four-year degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.
Experience in construction methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise large groups.
Experience in working in Mission Critical environment or similar construction projects.
A good communicator (open, direct, and honest).
Team player and ability to foster team relationships.
Ability to think outside the box.

Ability to deliver a safe and committed team culture and meet project targets and priorities.
Physical Demands :
Ability to continuously sit, stand, or walk.
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
Ability to lift-up to 10 pounds often and up to 25 occasionally.
Work environment:
Ability to work in heat or cold, outside, and in high elevations.
Office, cubicle, workstation, job trailer, or job site.
Some travel may be required.
