Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Bookkeeper who will also manage office duties and sit at the front desk. The ideal candidate is proficient in QuickBooks, accounts receivable (AR), billing, invoicing, and expenses. Experience with state sales tax and freight handling is preferred. Responsibilities include answering phones, managing inbound and outbound freight, and ensuring a good cultural fit, especially if you have construction or freight experience. Being tech-savvy is a must.

This is a fully on-site position in Ralston, Nebraska.

Work Environment

Please note this is an older office with a lingering smell of smoke due to the previous owner. The position is part-time, requiring 3 days a week or half days. Hours are flexible but must be consistent. The dress code is casual—jeans and a nice shirt. The office is small, with 5 people, and features an old-school environment with flatbed trucks frequently coming in. You will report to 3 individuals: 2 owners and an engineer. The previous person in this role transitioned after 6 years.
