Job Title: Sr. Hardware Engineer

Job Description

You will handle multiple projects based on their priorities, with supporting production to continue shipping products as the highest priority. You may be pre-empted from design to support production when unforeseen issues arise. Most of the time, you will manage multiple projects, ranging from designing new hardware (layout, schematic capture, troubleshooting prototypes) to transitioning BOM into SAP. You will collaborate with contractors to bring designs in-house, improve them, and drive them to production. Sustaining released products and finding alternative replacements for obsolete parts are also part of your responsibilities. You will follow established design and ECN processes, splitting your time 50% on design and 50% on testing.

Hard Skills

Experience in analog design

Expertise in digital design

Proficiency with PADS OR ORCAD, transitioning to Altium

Circuit design and modification

Wire harness and cable drawings

Soft Skills

Collaboration with mechanical engineers

Problem-solving with firmware engineers

Debugging and identifying hardware or firmware issues

Design modification and change implementation

Multitasking and project management

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dallas, Texas.

Work Environment

Onsite 5 days per week, with some hybrid flexibility on Fridays once settled in.
