Job Description

Seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee mechanical operations for a 120MW solar project in Hamilton, CO. This role involves working closely with the mechanical contractor to ensure that the project is built correctly, using appropriate materials and installation methods, and adhering to checklists. The superintendent will serve as the representative of the EPC/Developer, focusing on management, support, and oversight to ensure that mechanical work aligns with the owners best interests. Responsibilities also include conducting daily field inspections, logging and addressing inspection results, and ensuring quality control and assurance by reviewing subcontractor QA plans and bringing them into conformance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage mechanical operations for the solar project, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.

Collaborate with engineering teams to implement mechanical designs and solutions.

Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.

Train and mentor staff, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in mechanical supervision, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently.
