Revit Drafter

Job Title: Revit Drafter/BIM ModelerJob Description

A growing Utah-based civil engineering firm is seeking a Revit Drafter/BIM Modeler to create and manage 3D BIM models and structural drawings for various project types, including municipal buildings, water and wastewater treatment plants, and public works facilities in Revit. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Hard Skills

Developing detailed structural drawings and plans using Revit software

Ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications

Using clash-detection programs to identify and resolve conflicts with mechanical, plumbing, and structural systems

Producing construction-ready documents for contractors and permitting agencies

Reviewing and approving design plans, ensuring they comply with building codes and standards

Assisting in the coordination of project timelines and deliverables

Providing technical support and guidance to junior drafters and other team members

Integrating various disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP) into a cohesive model

Ensuring models comply with industry standards and project requirements

Soft Skills

High level of precision and attention to detail

Effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Midvale, Utah.

Work Environment

Preferred in office 5 days a week, 8 am to 5 pm, hourly with 1.5x for overtime. Structural engineers can work in Midvale, Ogden, or Springville.
