Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to help drive and lead initiatives in the Change Management team within Auto, Product, Analytics, and Digital Innovation (PADI) group in Consumer Lending. This involves supporting the Auto Originations and Servicing groups with ensuring non-technical change is managed in accordance with Enterprise, Consumer Lending, and internal Auto policy, procedure, and controls applicable to managing change. This role also supports the delivery of large, complex, cross-product and product area initiatives. Wells Fargos Consumer Lending line of business includes Home Lending, Auto, Credit Cards, Retail & Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Consumer Lending Control, and Consumer Lending Shared Services. In this role, you will:
Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
Responsible for the creation and management of a non-technical Product Area in Jira, ensuring Epics and Features are developed and maintained in accordance with Enterprise, Consumer Lending, and Auto line of business change management policy
Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business groups functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Understand and implement all enterprise, consumer lending and auto change management policies and procedures as the are rolled out/refined
Document applicable change impacts in our product system of record, Registry
Ensure all change impacts are considered and cared for prior to implementation
Assist in intake and Product Org Support, including supporting product teams with special programs/projects related to governance and change management
Act as an Ambassador for change management within Auto
Serve as change management Subject Matter Expert in product, ensuring that all change management requirements are met
Coach and mentor more junior resources in Change Management
Required Qualifications:
5 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Auto lending experience, including knowledge and understanding of auto lending practices, policies, and procedures
Change management experience in the Auto industry
Project and/or product management experience
Experience working in an Agile environment supporting product development and performing some level of product development
Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
Leadership experience including; coaching, training, and mentoring less senior staff
Proven ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across a large number of stakeholders and communicate complex concepts in a clear manner
Experience facilitating high impact conversations, navigating conflict and negotiating for an outcome that balances the needs of the business
Experience leading initiatives and strategies, partnering with other functional areas and driving change while operating in an ambiguous environment
Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
Experience reviewing and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, products and internal controls
Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance and control oversight, and risk management
Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and lead without authority within a matrixed environment
Strong Microsoft Visio and Excel skills
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
